ASSERTIVENESS

DEFINITION

Assertiveness is simply defined as a behaviour adopted by a person. It offers him his rights without humiliating the rights of others. It can also be defined as skill that one possess which let him live a balanced life, It's also a way of a communication.

Actual meaning of assertiveness can't be found easily because it has different facets. Although we can find the meaning in the origins of assertiveness.
After the 21 st century people are getting aware of their basic rights and they are struggling to get them. Some people are getting their rights by dominating on others while some people get their rights without humiliating those of others and this kind of people have that quality which we call assertiveness. Origins of assertiveness are,

"SELF-ESTEEM"

Self-esteem means to believe on own self and respecting your own worth and importance without compromising on your skills, A person whose self-esteem is up  can never fail in thick's and thins in life, he will always think and act assertively because he has a belief that there is nothing he can't do and he will always be on the top of his abilities, he always do everything with a lot of ease and comfort. This quality is the most useful one to become assertive and it takes you to the road of glory.

"Confidence"

  Self-esteem and confidence are inextricably linked, for example if you take a decision and you take a stand to execute it assertively, you are at the right position to go for that particular thing because by the time you take that decision you were thinking positive and thinking positive is an alternate of being assertive.
Suppose a three lane highway named weakness, confidence and domination respectively, if you are driving in a first lane of weakness, you know that you are weak and everyone is overtaking you easily, now as you decide to step up and try to speed up without respecting other drivers that means you are showing aggression and you are in the lane of domination, now at last when you decide to calm down and get into the middle lane of confidence it is the best time for you because you are both confident and unaggressive that no one can overtake you or you will not overtake anyone and every driver around you will respect you.

"Assertion"

Now this is the last phase of becoming assertive.... it's called assertion, it has two side-kicks "aggression and submission" as like the last example of confidence you need to stay in the middle, don't try to be over smart, aggressive and submissive, you can't afford any passivity, passive behavior will always let you feel down and unconfident.....when you show aggressive behavior that means you are humiliating others feelings and they will likely to take a resentment-revenge. On other hand you can't wait to let the things happen to you instead of taking any positive steps for it, you have to do something instead of doing nothing...... this behavior will always let you feel weaker and weaker until you start thinking assertively, so it's better for you to behave assertively.

ASSERIVENESS AS A WAY OF COMMUNICATION

Now if you want to be assertive, you have to restrict your words, you need to talk with a good character, you don't need to talk too much, just keep your words to the minimum, don't talk too much and always use good language in the conversation.....if you pass to adopt these qualities that probably means that you can use assertive dialogue any time anywhere, successful people have this quality of communicating assertively which makes them even more adorable, this quality plays a vital role in the success of such person who adopt assertive way of communicating.

Moral of this article

As a good civilian it's my duty to let you people know that how much we need a society where everyone thinks, behave and talk assertively, our society needs assertive people rather than aggressive and submissive people, at a same time our industries and departments also needs assertive relationship with the civilians, As a part of this society I know all the good and bad of our society and that's why I feel such a shame to be a part of such a society where corruption is on top, where people are get killed for no reason, where the system is inept and hypocritical, where the black people rules over the good ones, where money speaks instead of education, where people beg for peace and justice , where people tends to live a miserable life and a place where people will let you feel weak in front of a sinful society. Our HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD is an ideal personalty for us.... why don't we follow his footsteps????? what's stopping us to follow him? I know there are more questions alike these and I also knows that we know their answers, but still we don't follow him and we don't have any reason for it. So I need all of you to start doing something instead of doing nothing. THE NEED OF A GOOD SOCIETY

What is a Society?

"A society is a aggregate of peoples living in a more or less ordered community, a society can also be defined as the territory where civilization lives through a persistent relations. a well built society is very rare in the present day's world and hence it is much needed for a good civilian to have a good society where they can practice their skills and abilities and where they can live according to them without depending on somebody or something else.

In the history

History tells us that the great societies have ruled the world, societies where every individual enjoys a freedom of expressions and they were getting their basic rights at their footsteps, they were well educated and well constructed civilizations in short they ruled the world for having a good society until some bad elements dissolves in them, they start doing some sinful and unappropriate acts as a result they lost their pride and they start falling very rapidly and now they have become the part of a history. some examples are maya and easter island.
Societies in the present days world

A nation which is dominating in this world must consist of the group of good socieities , they have right peoples at their right places doing their respectful jobs for the sake of their societies hence their is no ineptness in their system, and this is the reason of their successful jouney. but their are some nations which don't have good socities they are ruled by unable peoples who are hypocritical with their character and hence the whole system is inept because of some black faces. they don't have any initiatives or aims, they have no interest in making a peaceful and prosperous society these societies will fall and will become a part of the history like some miserable societies who were the part of this world....... but they are no more with their appearance."

How to make our societies better?

NOW, the time is running so fast and f we want to survive in this world  we need to make our societies better, we need to insist others to do something good for the sake of our societies ... we need to create that fiendly environment becasue this world will have to end someday and we have to work for our day of judgement when we will be asked about what had we done with our responsibilities regarding our society and our country. So it's better to do something for that day instead of showing passive behavior and doing nothing for the wellness of our societies and therefore for our countries and for this world.
